CD

Kaley: What was the first CD you bought?

Nick: I think Will Smith

Kaley: Laughs.  Gettin’ Jiggy with it??

Nick: What was your first CD?

Kaley:  The Wallflowers

Nick: …

I know.  One Headlight was my jam.

This might surprise you because of the sheer amount of references I’ve made to Selena Gomez, but I didn’t always love pop music.  I used to love alternative music.  I know right?  “Black hole sun, won’t ya come…”  What?!  I hate black holes.  Oh well.  There’s no accounting for taste.

What was your first CD?!  Let me know in the comments!

And even if you’ve never commented before, do it!

I won’t think it’s creepy that you read my blog, it’ll probably just falsely inflate my ego.

  1. How do you expect old people to remember what their first cd was? Probably U2. But my first record was probably Andy Gibb and my first tape was maybe Pet Shop Boys? That’s all speculation. But those are the ones I likely played most because I actually remember them.

  2. I’m ashamed to say the …Backstreet Boys. (Gasp) …and be inflated… Your blog is hilarious. I read it often. Three is totally worse than “terrible twos” … You’re not alone. Also I hope you were telling the truth when you said you won’t be creeped out that someone you knew in college and haven’t spoken with since follows you’re blog. Anyway, thanks for makin me laugh.

  3. I’m super ashamed of this, buuuut it’s a twofer: Spice Girls’ Spiceworld AND Celine Dion.

    I’m so embarrassed.

  4. Ok so I know the first one was Ace of Base but I think the second one was that band that sings ” I’m a Barbie girl in a Barbie world.” OMG now THAT is horrible! Lol

  5. My first CASSETTES were Will Smith, Ace of Base, Spice Girls, and Notorious B.I.G. My first CD was either Brandy or Will Smith.

  6. CD? Either DC Talk or Michael W Smith. Those were given to me. The first one I bought for myself was Indigo Girls.

  7. My parents bought me my first CD Alanis’ Jagged Little Pill one year for Christmas. The following Christmas, I’d get a CD player to play it on. For serious.
