You’ve all seen it. The link on Facebook, daring you to click it, daring you to feel. It’s a guaranteed gateway to a cry fest, or a feel fest, or maybe even a warm fuzzy. It’s an inspirational blog post that has become viral.
I do not blame the blogger for blogging it. They didn’t know it would become viral. As Navy Wife-hood has made me a feelings vacuum, I loathe inspirational blog posts- unless they’re about how it’s okay to look like a train wreck after you had a baby… because it is. I hate it when people tell the general populous that they are “sure to cry” or “this changed my life”
You might be thinking “You’re horrible Kaley!” and you’d be right. I am terrible. As bad as they come, but so help me if I see another post about how to enjoy motherhood, how baking saved my marriage, or why a bell rings in heaven every time an infant laughs.
Here are some posts I hope go viral from my site, criteria being 1. Ridiculous title 2. Level of embarrassing content.
- on how my cankles led me to the cross
- let’s talk about… spanx
- on how to hide how fat you are from people who only see you on the internet
- pregnant kaley no speak good.
- happy anniversary fatso!
- things i’ve done learnt
- what’s trending
- what’s trending two
That’s as far as I felt like going back. Fame! I’m gonna live forever!! I feel pretty confident I’ll never go viral since the most hits I get are on Russian women looking at my crib bumper post!
