To do list.

Here’s a list of things I would like to do.

  • Make four new pillow covers.
  • finish the living room curtains.
  • go to the bathroom by myself.
  • shower daily.
  • Clean bathrooms.
  • Fold laundry.
  • crafts with Owen.
  • get Owen to gain weight (he hasn’t gained weight in a year. a year!)
  • get myself to lose weight.
  • Go on a date.
  • find babysitter.

I really never thought I would ever look like this. Stretch marks, flabby skin, a possible skin fungus, and sad, sad half maternity outfits. So today, instead of doing any of the things on my checklist, I used my me time to paint my damn nails. Because if I’m going to look homeless- I’m going to look homeless with lacquered nails.

  1. Hi, I’m sorry for asking this question against this particular post but ive been going through your entire new & old bolgs for the past 2 days and i have a question. (BTW love your blog) they say that its not safe to use a crib bumper for new borns but both your new borns had padded bumpers. would you recommend using a crib bumper for a new born?
    thanks a lot!!

  2. I actually don’t have my newborn in her crib right now. My son stayed in his bassinet for four months before moving to the crib. I’ll probably take the bumpers out of Maisy’s crib until she’s at least six months, but I did have them in once they started getting their limbs caught in the slats. Right now their in b/c she doesn’t sleep in it and it makes me happy to look at them- ha ha!
